MINE-101...
is a course that I developed along with others in my Business Writing class. The purpose was to create a team and then produce a product that would be viable in the Savannah city area. The purpose of the project was really to force us to develop a business plan and all the other tasks that come with that, and take our ideas and start forming them into concise words.
Our group chose to create "Stand Tall Studios" in order to create a program that allowed students to take skills such as creative problem solving, and creativity in a new direction. Minecraft affords teachers an opportunity to get a snap shot of how a student learns and then applies those leasons.
We finished the class by creating actual business proposal's. Our specific program was targeting a partnership with SCAD in order to create a collaboration between educators and game designers who could work together to develop an in depth program.
