TSA Frisky

TSA Frisky is...

a VR game where you are a TSA agent striving to earn the honor of employee of the month, and no bag or person can be left unchecked in this time crunch challenge. Manage the lines efficiently so you don’t delay flights!

Our game was selected to represent the Savannah College of Art and Design for the E3 student project competition. We were selected out of a group of 6 games. If we are selected as a finalist for the competition, the team will be going to E3 to represent the quality and type of games you can expect to come out of SCAD.

It is currently in development. We maintain a Facebook page dedicated to updating people about the project you can find it here https://www.facebook.com/tsafrisky

My role in the project is firstly as a producer, working as the Scrum Master and maintaining each weeks sprint. In addition to leading the sprints I also manage all QA events and surveys. I do this in conjunction with social media posts on Facebook and Reddit, since there are not as many HTC Vive owners as compared to PC or Console we choose to posts builds to try and reach a larger pool of playtesters that would otherwise not be available.

Gameplay Mechanics

How to Play:

  • Search passengers and their bags as they make their way through the line. Deny suspicious passengers from progressing through the line.
  • Prevent travelers from taking their pesky contraband onto the planes, every new day brings new contraband that they will try and smuggle by.
  • Use Motion controllers to interact with and manipulate the objects and the environment. Personally control the flow of lines of people and baggage.
  • Have consistent and immediate feedback of your performance level throughout the gameplay as well as at the end of the level
